Would anyone read my book?

I wrote a book called "Our Night in Transylvania" about students who travel on a school trip to Transylvania to investigate the legendary Dracula's Castle. I am writing a whole series where they travel to more locations like Alcatraz and St. Augustine. They also travel to places like real hospitals and theaters, and jails or prisons. Let me know if you may be interested.

I thought it was pretty good. Next time I’d use more current places that people might be more interested in (Not that your locations aren’t interesting, I’d personally like to read one on Alcatraz, that place is really neat.) Your research and enthusiasm for the topic really shows.

    I hope I helped,… :)

Hell no. The last thing society needs is more books about horny vampires… to be blunt.

If you plan on publishing any of these don’t post them online before hand. Most publishers don’t like to deal with a manuscript that can be read in whole or part for free elsewhere.

As for the story there is too much set up, get right to the compelling action and then work in the back story little by little. I would begin with the second chapter and state the story goal and foreshadow the disaster there because he has ten hours on the flight to recall previous events. It also shows he is trapped on the plane and on the collision course with the "disaster" you alluded to. Maybe breakup some of the strings of "I" beginning sentences.
