What is Vampire the Masquerade?





I have tried doing some research on it and have found some sites that say it is a book, some say it's a .pdf file, some say it is a group of people that meet up for role-playing, some say it's a video game, and some say it's all three. I am interested in getting information on all of the above. If you have any information to offer, please do :)

    Vampire the Masquerade is a series of books and a rpg online game by white wolf; part of the world of darknes. They also have pc games, one of them being Vampire the Masquerade- bloodlines and another being Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption [inform me anyone else if I've missed anything, I'm a new fan myself].
