    u must try morganville vampires…
When 16-year-old Claire Danvers arrives in the sleepy Texas town of Morganville for a parentally-enforced year at Texas Prairie University before heading off to MIT, her life takes a turn for the scary. First, the mean girls come after her, but a quick life-saving move to off-campus housing fixes that problem, and introduces her to three new friends: teen rocker Michael Glass, Goth Eve Rosser, and hottie/slacker Shane Collins.

But Morganville’s got more secrets to reveal, starting with one very big one:

    It’s run by vampires.

    The books in order:
    Glass Houses
    The Dead Girls’ Dance
    Midnight Alley
    Feast of Fools
    Lord of Misrule
    Carpe Corpus
    Fade Out
    Kiss of Death
    Ghost Town ( october 2010)

u can also try the mediator series :
Suze Simon has a problem: She’s been able to see and speak to ghosts all her life. Things have gotten especially bad now that her mom has remarried and Suze has three new stepbrothers…and a very sexy guy hanging out in her bedroom. Too bad the guy’s been dead for a hundred and fifty years.

Check out all six books in this (fan favorite) and New York Times bestselling series!

    Shadowland
    Ninth Key
    Reunion
    Darkest Hour
    Haunted
    Twilight

Read The Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris. There are eight of them. It’s one of the only modern vampire books I can stand to read. Hilarious and hot, and Sookie Stackhouse is a breath of fresh air next to Bella Swan. Here’s a summary of the first book:

"Sookie Stackhouse is a cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana, but she keeps to herself and doesn’t date much because of her "disability" to read minds. When she meets Bill, Sookie can’t hear a word he’s thinking. He’s the type of guy she’s waited for all of her life, but he has a disability, too–he’s a vampire with a bad reputation. When one of Sookie’s coworkers is killed, she fears she’s next."

    Enjoy!

well… this are good suggestions that I’ve read.
*Thrist #1 and #2 by Christopher Pike (about vampires now and back to the old days.)
*If I Stay by Gayle Forman) (its not a vampire book, but fans of twilight saga love and so do i! and i love twilight too! lol)
*The Immortals Series by Alyson Noel (it’s not vampire but about immortality and i LOVE it. my gran gave it me as a present and it is awesome)
*Night World by L.J. Smith (About vampires, werewolves and witches and it’s a series)
*Fallen by Lauren Kate (It’s about fallen angels and it’s beautifully written)
*True Blood (about bad and good vamps… and a lot of sex. i dont really like this book, but u might like it though!)

Well theres a lot more, but i ant remember the authors. haha! sorry. but i gave you enough!
