use really elegant looking pumpkins (see "For the Love of Pumpkins" book), I found some amazing and cheap masks at http://awnol.com/store/Masks/Venetian-Style-Masks/sort/4d/page/3 and they are cheap! also, use deep colors. Black is good but deep red, purple, really dark eucalyptus greens and grays are really dramatic (and it doesnt look like a big pile of black). Hobby Lobby has some GREAT silk flowers for this. for the bridesmaids, look at dramatic, antique looking jewelry, dark, dramatic dresses, lace, maybe big, victorian hats, feathers (even at the reception), you can serve red wine, and during dinner, play dramatic, classical music (even some from phantom if you like). So many people think that a vampire wedding has to be black. Dont be afraid to use color. Color makes it interesting and unexpected. For the guys, check men’s warehouse. They have some really sharp looking tuxes with longer jackets. They have a deep red vest that looks really classy. For the bride, when it comes to make-up, play up the eyes or the lips but not both. If you go for the eyes, make them smokey with thick black lashes and leave the lips with a simple gloss. If you go for the lips, you can do the deep red lips thing and keep the eyes in neutrals. Use lots of candles at the reception. You can look online and find some really neat vases, reminicent of the opera. Since you’re in the fall, you can make some really cool crystal trees (crystalier.com) but make your own, dont buy them. Get some sticks, spray paint silver, white, or black and buy your crystals from http://www.gspncrystal.com for $6 a strand! Good luck!!

Sounds like a really awesome idea. Ballgowns!!! A live orchestra if you can afford it?

Phantom of the Opera would just be the most awesome theme…

Sounds extremely cool! Black or dead roses, lots of gothic/Halloween type decorations, black candles, dry ice fog rolling down the aisle, Bach’s Toccata & Fugue in d minor instead of "Here Comes the Bride", "Night on Bald Mountain" instead of the wedding march, black and purple for the colors–and try to get the minister to wear Lon Chaney makeup. this could be fun!
You and the wedding party could dance to "Thriller" at the reception.

Love the idea, if you can pull it off it would be fabulous. Watch Van Helsing …the vampire ball scene in that movie. That is what I automaticly thought of when I read your question. Watch that scene, that is what I invision for your wedding. Good luck, hope the theme works out.

wow that’s very unique! how ’bout a black and red gothic wedding dress? or having the venue in an old chapel like Rome’s Sistine Chapel, and oh! how ’bout a bloody looking wedding cake filled with strawberry syrup and icing(just make the color more reddish)? yum! and like what the person above me said, use Bach’s Toccata as bg music!! and try using a black torn carpet instead of a neat red carpet!! that’ll be fun! and I guess it’ll be better if the drinks were black gulaman :))

I think you are going way to far overboard with this idea. sounds more like you are planing some sort of circus instead of a sacred ceremony. To each his own.
