Judging by my avatar (I look the same in person), what would be the perfect costume for me this Halloween?
I'm thinking either a Native chief, or Erik (aka The Phantom; looking for the mask, right now, as a matter of fact), or Dracula, or Dr. Van Helsing. Or Frankenstein?
Which would be best?

Those are good ideas. Add to them Lestat from the Anne Rice novels (or some 18th century fop), maybe Aragorn or an elf from Lord of the Rings, possibly even a pirate.
If you don't want to explain who you are all night, I'd avoid Van Helsing (unless basing your version on the film with Hugh Jackman). Dracula is overdone, as is Frankenstein's monster. That leaves the Native Chief (if you've got the body to show some skin, why not?) or Erik, and the Phantom is pretty recognizable.
Of your choices, I'd say Erik.
