I am trying to genetically splice a vampire bat and a hedgehog but nothing happens, what am I doing wrong?

They won't mate and just sit in the opposite corners of the cage hissing at each other.

You fault is thinking you are funny. Asking a nonsensical question in this category proves you have way too much time to waste. I have a feeling you don't even know which genes you would use.

I'll tell you what you're doing wrong… You didn't even send them out to dinner? The movies? I don't know any self-respecting hedgehog that would participate in this. What, have they been in the cage alone together all of FIVE MINUTES? See, that's the problem with vampire bats; they don't even bother to get to know you. Besides, all hedgehogs know that vampire bats SUCK. Literally. All I can tell you is that somebody is going to have to get REALLY drunk, and that somebody starts with an "h" and ends in "edgehog."

Well, its quite obvious actually. You say you have them in a cage? How is that helping their mood? I'd be pissed if I had to be stuck in a cage. Give them a bed….with silk sheets…. and I have the feeling the vampire bat will want mirrors on the ceiling. That should do the trick - Good Luck.
