I had to look up "Otherkin" to understand what the heck you were talkin’ about.

    Otherkin "Spirituality"? (rolls his eyes).

But anyway… yeah - I could see that. You’ve got all these teens that just LOVE vampires now because of that Twilight garbage. So, they go lookin’ around on the Internet (were all of this Otherkin crap is mostly based) and they get into it.

Most will probably outgrow this nonsense as they get older (hopefully).

Below is a great site to read concerning stuff like this - it’s called:

Hmm, I doubt I’d call it ’spirituality’, as that’s a pretty real ‘thing’ that tends to be based a lot in intellect and higher thought, but I’d say vampire films have certainly increased youngster’s desires for wanting to learn more about otherkin beliefs and the folklore behind them.

Looking at the state of the world today, it’s quite understandable why kids will have the psychological urge to separate themselves from the idea of being ‘only’ human.
Even if they don’t follow politics and are consciously unaware of the current world situation and rife corruption, the effects of such impact upon us all, so one is unable to NOT be aware of it in some form or other, consciously or otherwise.

    :)

    Yes, of course it has.

No, I’ve never heard of the Otherkin ‘Spirituality’ so I seriously doubt the recent popularity of vampires have augmented the cult’s status.
