Dracula is a warrior lord in the crusades in Romania fighting the Turks. While away at battle, the Turks send word to Dracula’s wife that Dracula has been killed. She kills herself and dracula returns home to find her dead. He denounces god and curses himself to live in darkness feeding off of blood. Hundreds of years later, Jonathan Harker is summoned to Transylvania for a business deal with Dracula. His fiancee is Mina who is the reincarnation or possibly relative of Dracula’s dead wife. After seeing a picture of Mina that Harker has, Dracula detains Harker and travels to London and in human form seduces Mina. Harker escapes and finds refuge in a convent, where he summons Mina and they are married. They both return to London, where Mina is captured by Dracula. A band of hunters including a master of vampire lore named Van Helsing chase Dracula back to Transylvania and end up finding him and killing him by impaling him. Mina then beheads him to end the story.
