Are there more movies in the series Interview with a Vampire?

I know that there was a series of books, but were these all made into movies. The ending of Interview with a Vampire really set it up for a sequel.

Well, thanks to the recent popularity of vampires in Hollywood, Universal Pictures plans to re-start "The Vampire Chronicles" movie franchise! It is rumored Robert Downey Jr. is in close talks for the role of Lestat! (of all people ^_^)
I hope the new movies will reach the standard of IWAV. Queen of the Damned was too much of an abomination!

As far as I know, the only other Anne Rice book made into a movie is Queen of the Damned…

Many years after Interview (and with none of the same actors), they made a movie of Queen of the Damned that also incorporated fairly large chunks of the Vampire Lestat book. At the time of it’s release, there was quite a bit of talk of making a movie out of the Vampire Armand book, but it hasn’t happened yet.

Queen of the damn was made a few years ago, but they completely ruined the book and I heard that Anne Rice told Hollywood that they would never make another of her books into a movie.

Interview with the Vampire was made into movie then some one else made Queen of the Damned some time later. They weren’t by the same people and the beginning of Queen of the Damned is also partially from The Vampire Lestat, the book in between these two books… In the end of Interview, it’s setting up how Lestat wakes up which you can read about in Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned or see in Queen of the Damned…
